How to Read Your Rack-Point Invoice
We try to design our invoices to be transparent and easy to read. Here’s a breakdown of what each section means and how to interpret your charges.
Header Information
The top of your invoice includes basic details like your invoice number, status (e.g., Paid or Due), and invoice date. You’ll also see our business info and the billing address you provided.
Payment Method
This shows how the invoice was paid (e.g., Visa ending in 1234). If you use multiple payment methods, it helps you track what was used for which transaction.
Service Descriptions
Each item you’re billed for is listed individually. This includes details like the server’s specs (CPU, RAM, storage), data center location, bandwidth allowance, and the billing cycle (e.g., 05/15/2025 – 06/14/2025).
Bandwidth Usage
Below each service, you might see a record of the previous month’s bandwidth usage. This is for reference only and shows how much of your included bandwidth was used. You won't be charged unless you exceed your plan’s limit.
Total & Transaction Summary
At the bottom, you'll find the subtotal, any applied credits, and the final amount charged. The transaction section confirms the payment date, method, transaction ID, and total paid.
No Hidden Fees
If you see a $0.00 line item, it's just informational — you're not being charged extra. All pricing is flat-rate unless explicitly discussed or overages apply.
